Public Physical Education Courses:
Public physical education courses are divided into three types: compulsory physical education courses, elective physical education courses, and major elective courses in sports science.
1. Compulsory Physical Education Courses
Compulsory Physical Education Courses are offered to students in the first to third year of college. These are compulsory public courses and fall under the Module 'General Education'. Compulsory physical education courses consist of two parts: basic physical education courses (1 credit for each course) and advanced physical education courses (non-credit).
Advanced physical education courses for students in the third year are non-credit courses assessed on a pass/fail (P/F) basis. Students can choose the course marked 'advanced' based on their interests.
2. Elective Physical Education Courses
Elective Physical Education Courses are offered to students in the fourth year, to encourage wider participation in sports activities. These courses fall under the Module 'Guidance for Development of Physical Abilities' and the credits do not count towards compulsory courses.
3. Major Elective Courses in Sports Science
Compulsory theoretical courses on sports training are offered to students of high-level sports teams. These courses fall under the Module 'Guidance for Development of Physical Abilities '.
